Yeni Valide Mosque
The Yeni Valide Mosque (Turkish: Yeni Valide Camii) is an Ottoman mosque located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built on İskele road by Gülnuş Emetullah Sultan, mother of the Ottoman sultan Ahmed III between the 1708 and 1710. Main construction have square shape and is covered with one flattened and four half domes. The mosque has got two minarets with two balconies each. Calligraphies inside the mosque are the work of Hezarfen Mehmet Efendi.
